The Booking process

 

STEP 01

 

Fill out the form

Follow the Contact tab on my website and fill out the contact form for your session. If you are inquiring about booking a wedding find the Wedding Inquiry Form located on the Wedding Services page and fill the inquiry form out. 

STeP 02

 

Call, meet up, or Email

Once a Wedding Inquiry or Contact form is submitted I will reach out to you via email to make sure you are still interested in my services or if I am available for your date. Once we discuss the where and when, and select a date for my services a contract will be sent for you to review and sign and then a retainer will be paid to hold your date and time. After your retainer is paid and your contract is signed, I will either call, meet up, or we can just continue to email, to discuss the details of your session or wedding day. Weddings will have an extra meet up or call prior to the wedding date to discuss your timeline for your photography and any other further concerns you may have.

STEP 03

Picture time

Finally your session has arrived! I will send out final details for time and locations usually the week of  your session. Wedding timelines will be completed and sent out to you at least a month prior to your wedding date unless discussed differently. I am so excited to capture your memories!!    

STEP 04

Delivering photos

Final high resolution images are sent via email through a high quality personalized online gallery. Turn around times for regular sessions during the months of January - May are usually 2 - 2.5 weeks. Turn around times for regular sessions during the months of May - December are usually 3.5 - 4 weeks depending on how busy I am. Summer and Fall are definitely the busiest time of the year! Turn around time for all weddings is 10-12 weeks.

FAQ

This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?

You don't need to be nervous! I got you! I will help you position yourself the entire time during your session. Need help with styling; no problem I have you there too. I am a very laid back person and am usually up for whatever you want to do during your session. Want to add your pets? Let's do it; as long as the location allows it! I love adding animals to sessions! Props.... usually not needed unless we are doing a milestone session, newborn session, or senior session. Most of the time I will provide all the props unless, you have a specific theme you are going for and I don't already have those props.

 

Are the travel expenses included in your packages?

Travel expenses are included in my regular session packages as long as the location is within 1.5 hours from Hillsboro, Ohio. After 1.5 hours each extra hour is an additional $50 and $25 for each additional half hour. Wedding travel is included in all packages, unless the wedding is over 2.5  hours from Hillsboro, Ohio. Specific travel pricing will be given based on location and if lodging will need to be purchased. Out of state elopements and weddings are priced on a case by case basis.

 

 

Can you recommend any good locations?

 

Once we have discussed your vibes for your session I will do location scouting to find a place for your session. I do have regular indoor and outdoor locations that I offer as well.

 

What if the weather is bad on the day of an outdoor shoot?

If it is slightly sprinkling and the weather looks like it is going to let up and the forecast is clear; we will proceed with your session. If it is pouring, unless that is the vibe you are going for, we will usually reschedule your session to another date in close proximity to your original date. If it is really windy and you're not feeling like you want your hair whipped around in your face for all your photos, we can reschedule! However, wind is not usually a factor for rescheduling if we are on a tight time crunch and I have no availability to change your date. If it is negative temps outside..... you will not find me outside; I'm not a cold weather junkie! If the weather is bad and you need your session done on that specific day and we cannot reschedule, we do have the option of renting a studio and changing your session to indoors; the rental fee would be an additional cost added onto your session.

 

Do you offer payment plans?

 

Payment plans are offered for wedding and elopement packages depending on the package you choose. Most packages require a 25% retainer at booking and then a monthly payment based on the amount still owed after your booking retainer is paid.
